The weather in Toronto in June is mild with average temperatures of 15 ºC - 20ºC. 
It rains occasionally so an umbrella is recommended.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

Visa regulations depend on nationality and country of origin. Please contact your local Canadian Embassy/Consulate for full and official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that apply to you. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.​

Official Letter of Invitation​

Official letters of invitation designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries can be sent to participants by the Secretariat. Should you require an invitation please e-mail invitation@kenes.com 

Kindly note requests for invitation letters are generally processed within 5-7 business days.  

It must be understood that such letters do not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee or Congress Organizer to provide any financial assistance. If you require an original letter, it is recommended that you send your request 3 months in advance to account for delivery by post and administrative time. 


LIABILITY

The conference​ secretariat and organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

The 17th Annual Conference of the International Society for Bipolar Disorders ("ISBD") reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken during the conference and any additional event organized by the ISBD, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. The ISBD may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by the ISBD including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.

Any person desiring not to have their photo taken or distributed must contact Robert Nesbitt in writing of his/her intentions and include a photograph. The ISBD will use the photo for identification purposes and will hold it in confidence.​
